National Curriculum Guidelines

The National Curriculum Statement (NCS) Grades R–12 provides the framework that guides teaching and learning in South African schools. The Care and Support for Teaching and Learning (CSTL) programme, led by the Department of Basic Education, focuses on creating supportive school environments where every learner has the opportunity to succeed.
