Innovation Edge supports innovative solutions that improve early childhood development in South Africa. One of its projects, ChildConnect, explored how mobile messaging could help parents support their children’s early learning and development.
Through the existing MomConnect platform, the project tested sending additional messages to mothers and caregivers with practical tips on early childhood care and development for children aged 12 to 18 months.
By supporting projects like ChildConnect, Innovation Edge helps explore new ways to strengthen early learning and family support through accessible technology.
