RCDT's Footprint
In alignment with the Alchemy principle of non-partisanship, the RCDT does not serve defined local communities. Its primary work is focused on an Alchemy Benefit Area. The boundary of the Alchemy Benefit Area (ABA) encloses communities and settlements 15km or less from the mine lease boundary. An Integrated Benefit Area (IBA) surrounds the ABA. The IBA boundary describes a circle of 50km from the Mine's operation.
In practice, these boundaries are largely indicative. The Trust is not restricted to the ABA, and may promote and support cooperative development projects in the IBA.
